Laptops and other equipment are available for checkout to College of Education students, faculty, and staff or anyone currently enrolled in an Education course. Reservations are encouraged and may be made via the Web using the LTC’s Online Reservation System. The loan period varies with the type of equipment borrowed and current demand for it. There are no charges for this service, though fines are assessed for equipment turned in late. Students must present a valid UT ID when checking out equipment.
Delivery, set-up, and pick-up of multimedia equipment for classes and meetings is a service offered to College faculty and staff in the Sánchez Building and in Bellmont Hall. Reserve equipment on the Web, provide delivery information, and receive an immediate confirmation.
Reserving Laptops and other Equipment
- Requests to reserve equipment for a certain date and time may be made at any time, the farther in advance, the better.
- All requests should be submitted at least 48 hours before a resource is actually needed.
- If a request can be honored, a confirmation of the reservation will be sent via email to the requester.
