Two LTC Facilities Undergo Complete Update - August 25th, 2009

The updated and renamed Laptop Collaborative Classroom.

We’ve been busy this summer at the LTC! Two of our facilities have been completely updated over the last two months and are ready for the fall semester.

The Model Technology Classroom, a perennial favorite with faculty for its flexibility and technical systems has been completely updated. It now has a new instructor console with built-in touchscreen controller, widescreen projection system, adjustable LCD panels, and dry-erase boards. It also features a Promethean interactive whiteboard, which combines projection, sound, and interactive touch to create engaging lessons.

The Laptop Compatible Classroom has also been updated, and along with new furnishings and widescreen projection system also has a new name. To reflect the collaborative learning activities the new equipment facilitates, it is now called the Laptop Collaborative Classroom. This room also is equipped with a Promethean interactive whiteboard.

A fleet of laptops can be requested when using either room and will be delivered and set up before the class begins.
