This online tutorial from the University of Minnesota's Center for Teaching and Learning Services provides instructors with perspectives, strategies, and techniques for using presentation software to support active learning among their students. It is a resource that goes beyond the technical, serving as a "why-to" as well as a "how-to" manual. Tutorial modules are available as streaming video mini-workshops or in text format. Included are ideas for activities, models of assessment techniques, and an extensive collection of links to other websites and articles. This is a well-designed site, and the resources listed in the bibliography are well-worth a second look.
