IDEA Studio

The IDEA Studio, coordinated by Dr. Karen French, provides technology integration support to faculty in the College of Education at The University of Texas at Austin. Members of our expert staff, most of whom are currently pursuing advanced degrees in curriculum and instruction, provide services ranging from drop-in help, to consulting on curriculum planning that integrates technology, to spearheading College instructional technology initiatives and collaborating with faculty on research projects. We are also the unit in the Learning Technology Center in charge of delivering curriculum-related technology training to classes in the College of Education.

Our office is located in Sanchez 437. Our hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can reach us by phone at 512-232-2189. To schedule an in-class training for your students, send an email to the IDEA Studio at ideastudio@austin.utexas.edu. To help us ensure that staff members are available to conduct the session, please submit training requests at least five days in advance.
