Resources for Faculty & Staff

Computer Labs, Classrooms and Equipment Checkout

Faculty may reserve the Distance Learning Classroom, the Model Technology Classroom and any of the computer labs (except for the Fourth and Fifth Floor Open Labs) for classes, and UT-sponsored research projects and demonstrations. Entire computer laboratories and other equipment including Laptops are also available for checkout.

Technical & Network Services

The Technical and Network Services team maintains the College network infrastructure and Web servers. They provide computer and technical-related assistance and trouble-shooting to College faculty and staff. A new service this semester is automated computer backups for faculty and staff.

To request help from the “tech team,” please send email to help@edb.utexas.edu or use our Web-based Tech Support System. If email and Web access is down call 471-HELP. Requests are acknowledged, and every effort is made to attend to requests as quickly as possible.
