Exemplary Practices in Technology in Education

Funded by the National Science Foundation, this project was a collaboration with the International Society for Technology in Education and the Academy for Educational Development, and brought together outstanding educational technology researchers and leaders from the U. S. and other countries to design an international NSF study. A website containing information about the project was established in the LTC as well as an online conferencing system for the international experts to dialog about issues and ideas. A workshop, including experts and representatives from the National Academy of Science, the International Education Association, the U. S. Department of Education, National Science Foundation, and others was conducted in the Fall of 1997.
