The Communications Area maintains the College of Education and LTC Web pages, and publishes a newsletter and other information about the LTC.

|Technical & Network Services||
The Technical and Network Services team maintains the College network infrastructure and web servers. They also provide computer and technical-related assistance and trouble-shooting to College faculty and staff.

Laptop Help provides technical support specific to the needs of students using required Apple laptops in their teacher preparation programs. Help with software applications is also provided.

Computer Labs: Computers that can run in either Windows or Mac OSX are available in labs in the Sánchez Building and Bellmont Hall.

|Distance Learning & Teleconference Classroom||
The LTC has a flexible distance learning and teleconference classroom which provides interactive video links to anywhere in the world. It is available for courses, conferences and meetings. Reasonable rates for non-instructional and non-UT events. Available to public and private organizations for purposes approved by The University of Texas at Austin.

|IDEA Studio for Faculty Support||
The IDEA Studio helps faculty integrate technology into their teaching and research, and provides customized workshops, training, and consultation.

|External and Special Projects||
The External and Special Projects group supports educational technology research and development efforts, often funded by outside agencies. The group's efforts frequently provide students within the College with opportunities to work on what are often cutting edge real world projects for external clients.
