1950s

Lyndall O. Maxwell, B.S. in Elementary Education 1958

Lyndall was involved with Orange Jackets  at UT and after graduation taught elementary school in Corpus Christi.  In 1962 she moved to Germany to work for the American Red Cross as a recreation worker and traveled in Europe and North Africa. She received a Masters in Recreation in 1968 and worked in Chicago as an activity director, health educator and consultant for nursing homes. Lyndall retired as Director of Volunteers for Harris County Health Department in 2004 and continues to volunteer in Houston.
