Celebrating 125 Years of Changing the World
What started here in 1883 is still changing the world! The first classes at The University of Texas at Austin began on September 19, 1883, and we are celebrating that momentous launch here in the College of Education. In addition to celebrating the University's 125th birthday, we want to celebrate your success because you are a vital part of UT's history and certainly of the College of Education's distinguished past. We want to honor you and your accomplishments because you represent our tradition of excellence. And we want to see your name on our 125 Celebration Wall.
Each College of Education class will be recognized for its contributions:
- Our donor recognition 125 Celebration Wall will show all who give to the College of Education during the 2008-2009 Celebration Year
- Our Class Notes page will showcase your many honors and successes.
As part of our 125 Celebration Year, we want to celebrate your success and accomplishments. College of Education alumni are indeed changing the world, and we want everyone to know about it! We've set up a special Web site to list your honors, titles, and professional accomplishments. We'll update our Class Notes page monthly to showcase your success. Just visit our Let Us Know page and enter your information.
You have an opportunity to make history this year! Wouldn't it be great if the College of Education delivered its strongest giving and alumni response ever during UT's 125th birthday year? Many alumni are giving $125 this year, and some are giving $1,250 or more. Every gift counts and will be recognized! Now is the time to celebrate your accomplishments, and your pride in the College of Education's storied past—and exciting future!
Don't be left out of the celebration! Show your support today! See our list of Current Needs.
Thank you for supporting the College of Education and 125 years of excellence at UT Austin!
