This web is designed to provide a place for discussion

of issues related to the Computer-Supported Collaborative

Learning (CSCL) from theoretical perspectives. I start with

defining CSCL; my interpretation of different theories;

relevant CSCL tools; some findings from CSCL research;

further research issues; and education implications. I

include many relevant on-line links and references. Though,

as you know, the web is always under construction and not

inclusive. My intent is to stimulate discussion on implications of

theories to promote effective learning in the CSCl environments.
