Communication Aids
Aids for communication include devices such as speech synthesizers, text-to-speech software, and telecommunication devices for the deaf. These augmentative and alternative communication or "aug com" devices assist people who may have speech difficulties, are non-verbal, or have difficulty with oral communication in communicating with other people.
