ATEP Home -> FAQ -> What if I want to go to medical school or physical therapy school? What about teacher certification?

What if I want to go to medical school or physical therapy school? What about teacher certification?

Students wishing to obtain teacher certification or to go on to medical school or any allied health profession school may fulfill the ATEP’s requirements while meeting the prerequisites for that school. We believe the education and hands-on training the student will be exposed to while in the ATEP will strongly prepare the student for a successful career in any allied medical profession. The course work for each professional school varies. It is up to the student to make sure they are meeting all of the requirements for the professional school or teacher certification and the ATEP. Meeting the requirements for the ATEP and the requirements or prerequisites for the other schools or certifications may take more than four years to complete. Students choosing this option should consult an academic advisor for further information.
