Pete Wimmer is one of two athletic trainers at Pflugerville H.S. Prior to arriving in Pflugerville in 2004 he was the athletic trainer at  Carrollton Newman Smith High School in Carrollton Texas for six years following a two year span at Alice High School. 

He received his Bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Texas State University in 1993 and completed his Master’s in Education at Northwestern State University . He has also been the athletic trainer for the Alexandria (LA.) Aces Professional Baseball Club in the 1995 season as well as having been a student intern with the Dallas Cowboys Football Club in 1992.

Pete is married to Joelle Wimmer, a first grade teacher at Pflugerville Rowe Lane Elementary. They have two children.
