The Pearson Center for Applied Psychometric Research was pleased to welcome Joshua McGrane, Ph.D. as a visiting scholar from September 6 through September 16. Dr. McGrane is a Pearson Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Graduate School of Education at the University of Western Australia. He conducts numerous theoretical and empirical research on psychological measurement in social and educational contexts, with particular emphasis on unfolding analysis and Rasch analysis. In addition, he teaches courses on Rasch analysis and measurement theory. Dr. McGrane received the H. Tasman Lovell Medallion for the best Ph.D. thesis in 2009 from the University of Sydney.
